Meet Dr. Casino
Dr. Casino has been practicing Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery on Long Island for over 20 years and is well recognized as a leader in the field. His special interests include Maxillofacial trauma and Dental Implants, subjects he has lectured on at the national and international level.
Dr Casino graduated from Fordham University in 1974, with a degree in Biology, and attended SUNY School of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook graduating with honors in 1978. Since that time he has devoted a major portion of his career to teaching residents in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at University Medical center at Stony Brook and the Northport VA Medical Center. Dr Casino is Chief of the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at University Medical Center at Stony Brook. Dr Casino assumes an academic appointment in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine where he is a Clinical Associate Professor Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr Casino has published articles and textbook chapters in the field of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also on the examining committee for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, which is an extreme honor in the field. Dr Casino is also a member of the faculty of AO North America, which is responsible for training surgeons in the advanced treatment of Maxillofacial trauma.
Dr Casino lives in Setauket, New York with his wife Anita and their children Andrew, Lauren and Gregory. He loves sports and plays golf, softball and basketball.
